Charles Braun founded Industrial Contractors in 1964 as a general and mechanical contracting company with just a few employees. Now, over forty years later, Industrial Contractors is still family-owned and employs a full-time staff of a weekly average of 1,600 employees and as many as 2,400 workers during peak construction periods. Having been ranked in ENR's Top 400 Contractors since 1972, the company’s annual sales volume has grown from $3 million to over $370 million dollars. Along the way, ICI has developed a reputation for integrity, fair pricing and excellence in construction.
